What is intumescent paint?

Applied to various structural elements Intumescent coating is used to delay the collapse of a structure by achieving a high level of fire resistance. Intumescent paint swells when exposed to extreme heat.

Intumescent coating is extremely adaptable, can be used on various surfaces & does not modify any mechanical properties! Paint is usually sprayed as this is time effective and provides a quality finish.
