About us
Founded in Leeds in 2009 by Mark Humphrey and Damien McKenna, TECL set out to do fire stopping differently. We employ more than 70 operatives directly, never labour-only gangs, and we’ve recorded every installation digitally since 2010, years before the golden thread became law.
We’re certified under FIRAS, LPS 1531 and BM TRADA, and hold Constructionline Gold, SafeContractor, ISO 9001 and CHAS. From small refurbishments to the London Olympics, our work is installed right and fully evidenced.
